1. Keto Snacks and Foods for a Gift Basket
Ok, hear me out ! You might think: “Nah, there’s no way I’m getting someone cereal or bread or tortillas for Christmas or the Holidays” BUT that might be exactly what your loved ones would like. Why? Because when you’re eating Keto or Low Carb buying these products really adds up, budget wise because yes, they’re not cheap. Where in the past we might have bought a box of regular cereal for $3 at Target, we now see price tags from $5 to $10 for Keto friendly products.
The nice thing is that you can go with just one product or gift a few and make it a gift basket!
What Keto Anywhere followers and I would put in a Keto gift basket!
Here’s an idea of a gift basket - yes, I have discount codes for you to use as I want to offer the biggest collection of Keto product discounts. I only recommend products I truly love though and here would be my top 10:
Smoothies from Blendtopia: Ok, this one might blow your Keto friends off their socks because chances are they do not know that there are Keto smoothie options out there like the ones from Blendtopia. Make sure to select from the Keto ones - order a variety and enjoy. Freezer space needed and just add unsweetened almond milk or water or any low carb liquids! Link to the green smoothie and there are two more!
Anything HighKey: HighKey has Cookies as well as Cereal and Baking Mixes. I personally would recommend their Baking Mixes as gift ideas as they aren’t as known yet but amazing. Especially the Chocolate Chip Blondie Mix and the Biscuit Mix. Check out the Amazon Keto Holiday List and shop from there!
**Anything from Livlo: Their Brownie Mix, Granola and Biscuit Mixes are STUNNING! Like non-Keto good! They sell only through Amazon! Save 10% at Amazon checkout with code ANYWHERE10
**ChocZero chocolate and syrups: Anything from ChocZero is sure to conquer your giftees heart. Their chocolates are amazing. Their syrups too and I’ve yet to come across someone who doesn’t like it. Plus, the syrups go really well with e.g. Pancake Mixes from HighKey. Order on Amazon (higher prices) or on the ChocZero website with an extra 10% off with code KETOANYWHERE (much better prices).
Cut Da Carb: Another one that everyone online is RAVING about. They make thin dough that I’ve seen people use as tortillas, wraps. Similar to filo dough. BUT they are more on the Low Carb side of things so if your friend eats Keto they might not love how many carbs they have. Order here.
**Keto Queen Kreations mixes: You can order their mixes with 15% off with code KETONANYWHERE here. Not sure what your Keto friend would want most? How about getting a gift card instead? They start at $15.
Hilo Life Tortilla Chips: I LOVE them. By far the best Keto friendly Tortilla Chips out there right now. My favorite flavors are the cheese ones. They are available on Amazon. You can also find them at some Costco’s and they are coming to Kroger’s and more stores in November.
Smart Baking Company: Burger Buns (called SmartBuns) and Muffins (called Mfn’s). My favorites are the Sesame Buns and the Chocolate Chip Mfn. Warning! These need to be refrigerated and even frozen so don’t order them too far ahead if you don’t have space in your freezer and they might be a bit more tricky to keep under the tree until your loved one is ready to open. They are incredible though so I wouldn’t dismiss them just because of that. You get an extra 10% off when you enter code KETOANYWHERE at checkout on their website. Amazon has them too and occasionally has 10% off too!
Scotty’s Baking Mixes: 2021 brought the Keto and Low Carb world ZERO net carb baking mixes that are incredible. Highly recommend the bread mix or the cupcake one!
Shrewdfood Dippers: Whether you go with milk or dark chocolate, these will not disappoint. Puffy inside, coated in creamy chocolate and so good. Perfect treat in between meals, on the go, at the movies! I don’t have a discount code but thry are on Amazon!
Magic Spoon Cereal: I have to admit that I haven’t tried this one yet but they are on my to-try-bucket. Unfortunately I do not have a discount code for this one but they are on Amazon!
Legendary Pop Tarts: These Keto friendly and low carb pop tarts were the most listed when I polled followers on Instagram. Definitely a to-try-keto-bucket-list staple! Available on Amazon. A 10-pack for $24.99 or a 2 flavor pack with 20 in total for $49.98. Told you Keto things are pricey!
Key Nutrients Electrolytes: My favorites are Raspberry and Watermelon right now and on my to-try-bucket-list is Peach Mango. So easy to prep and delicious to drink! Available on Amazon or on their website with 10% off.
The best of the best Keto products!
Beyond the above there are of course many more products that could make your Keto or Low Carb eating friend just as happy. In 2021 Keto Anywhere compiled the ‘Best of the best’ Keto product guide. Check it out to find the best Keto cookies, chips, baking mixes, candy and more:
For even more inspiration check out these too:
**Keto Anywhere Discounts page
**Blog with Keto shopping guides for Target, Walmart, Costco and many more. One of the greatest places to shop Keto is Whole Foods. Especially because they accept returns of open products too! So if you don’t like the food you bought after a few bites: Bring it back for a refund! Don’t abuse this of course but it’s a great back up plan!
2. The Keto friendly gift that keeps on giving: Snack subscription boxes
Yes. There are not only subscription boxes for beauty products or crafts out there but also for people eating Keto!
Here are a few to consider that are very popular which would allow the giftee to try lots of snacks for a month or more!
Keto Krate: This seems to be the most popular box at the moment. Subscribers receive an assortment of Keto friendly sample as well as full-sized snacks. Order through the Keto Krate website to get their current deal which is either Buy One, Get One Free or $10 off the first krate! You can also enter the coupon code KETOANYWHERE at checkout for savings!
My Keto Snack Box: Similar principle as Keto Krate. For $38 / month subscribers receive a box of 8 - 12 Keto friendly or Low Carb treats. Orders can be placed on the My Keto Snack Box website. Alternatively you can also get a single box on Amazon for $49.99.
The Keto Box: Starts at $36 including shipping. Also comes filled with Keto and Low Carbs food. In addition, subscribers receive a free 28 day meal plan and with the 2nd shipment a free 20min coaching session. Plus exclusive monthly coupons. Order here and enter KETOANYWHERE for 20% off the first box.
Sleek Treat: Starts at $34.95. They have different options between a refrigerated box and non-refrigerated foods. Similar to the other boxes Sleek Treat delivers a curated mix of Keto friendly snacks. More on sleektreat.com.
3. There's more to Keto than snacks: How about gifting meals? or meats and seafood? or baked goods?
After the snack subscription boxes come the meaty ones! Check out these options. Pricier than other gift ideas which might not be for everyone!
Butcher Box: This one is for Keto carnivores. Starting at $129 / month for the curated ‘classic’ box that will include 8-11lbs of meat for 24 meals. They also have ‘big’ boxes for 48 meals and options to choose only beef or beef and chicken or different combinations. They always have a deal like Free Turkey or Free ground beef for life. Learn more on ButcherBox.com
Rastelli’s: Either order meat subscriptions or one time orders. Learn more on rastellis.com . Shop through Rakuten for up to $10 off!
Factor meals: A meal delivery service where you can select Keto meal options. All subscriptions come with complimentary 20min nutritionist consultation. The meals only need to be heated up. No extra cooking. Save $90 off your first 3 boxes!
Green Chef: Another meal delivery service where you can opt into Keto meals or gift someone Keto meals. This delivery service provides ingredients and recipes and the recipient then cooks. The Keto + Paleo offer starts at $12.99 / meal. Shop through Rakuten for up to 35% off or check Groupon to see if they currently have offers!
Trifecta: Keto meal plan that starts at $108.43 / week. Locally sourced. Free shipping. 100% recycle packaging with the goal to move to 100% biodegradable in the coming 2 years. For Black Friday they have a 40% off offer and free chicken for life! Learn more about Trifecta here.
Evolve Meal Plans & Subscription: This one was brought up by @hella_keto_ east_bay and I’ve seen a few people post and rave about it. Evolve offers either Keto friendly meal plans or subscriptions as well as some pantry items. For example you could get the Keto Meal Plan with 10 entrees for $112 as a one time purchase OR for $103.04 as a weekly subscription. They also offer Keto friendly add-ones like the ‘Keto breakfast add-on’. Learn more about Evolve here.
**Keto baked goods: Many Keto friendly bakeries have started shipping across the US during COVID. Check out the full list of Keto Anywhere reviewed bakeries that ship here and consider sending your friend a Keto friendly cheesecake or muffins or donuts for the holiday’s!
4. For something unique, Keto friendly adult beverages could be great
I don’t think many people would dislike a nice bottle of Brut Champagne. It’s Keto friendly, festive and definitely has the right image to be a holiday gift.
My personal favorites are Veuve Clicquot and Moët Chandon!
Keeping things more casual? Here’s a quick list of low carb beers: Miller lite, Michelob Ultra, Corona Premier, Lagunitas IPA.
Beyond this, I also came across Dry Farm Wines. They curate wines that are low in carbs which is fantastic because it can be hard to figure out which ones wines are lower in carbs and which one aren’t.
Dry Farm Wines chooses low carb wines and you or whoever you’re gifting has a 100% Happiness guarantee. Subscriptions can be taken monthly or every other month and are $159 for 6 bottles of white, red or mixes or $299 for 12 bottles. Yes…prices are steep.
5. The best Keto Cookbooks
I myself have not bought a Keto cookbook yet as I tend to draw inspiration from the amazing recipes people on Social Media share.
So it felt only right to ask the people I draw inspiration from what THEIR favorite Keto and Low Carb cook books are.
Most named Keto Cookbook: Southern Keto Cookbook by Natasha Newton
@ketogirlmanda, @love2lowcarb as well as @gen_ x_jenn listed this one as their top Keto cookbook and over 5000 reviewers on Amazon agree where it currently has a whopping 4.7 stars!
Adding it to my wishlist now! That leaves just one question: Paperback or Spiral-bound?
Runner ups were the following Keto cookbooks
Squeaky Clean Keto by Melissa Sevigny
Low Carb Yum 5-ingredient Keto by Lisa Marcaurele
All cookbooks by Kyndra Holley like Craveable Keto
Easy Keto Dinners by Carolyn Ketchum
All the cookbooks by Maria Emmerich like Keto Restaurant Favorites
Breaking up with carbs by iRic Wiggins that comes with a 60-day meal plan, grocery lists, fast food dining guide and more!
6. Must have Keto Electronics: From chaffle maker to an exclusive wireless meat thermometer
No clue what that headline means? Do not worry. I’ll explain below!
To make the Keto or Low Carb lifestyle more sustainable it can be great to switch things up when it comes to cooking. Keeping recipes varied. Exploring with textures and ingredients.
Luckily, in the past years, more and more kitchen appliances have come out or have been reinvented that cater to this way of eating and make things fun.
Here’s a selection that is bound to make someone eating Keto or Low Carb smile and motivate them to try something new! BONUS? The mini versions tend to be very affordable and all these electronics come in a variety of colors now!
Chaffle Maker: This is basically a re-invented, mini waffle maker. What does ‘Chaffle’ mean? It’s a combination of Cheese + Waffle. Chaffle recipes usually include an egg, shredded cheese and savory or sweet spices and ingredients to make single size 4in waffles. Those are then either eaten plain, used as buns or even as tacos!
Amazon has some of these mini waffle makers too. From leopard print to skull to snowflake, heart and classic teal, black or red! Prices vary on Amazon.
Other Mini Makers: Dash doesn’t just have a wide rangle of mini waffle makers. They also have an egg bite maker - yes, to recreate those Starbucks ones, mini griddle, mini grill, mini bundt cake and even a mini belgian waffle maker. Pretty sure that any and all of these would be a hit with someone eating Keto or Low Carb.
Ice cream makers: It might not feel like the right season but eventually the right season will come. While Keto friendly ice creams are becoming more mainstream in stores, they are also amazingly easy to make at home. Heavy cream, eggs, a sweetener like Swerve, flavor, a bit of patience and you’re done! Recipe to follow soon but in the meantime great ones are available on Google and will turn out great with an ice cream maker like the Cuisineart that I have come to love and that happens to also be the most popular on Amazon with almost 10k reviews and an average rating of 4.7 stars out of 5
Kitchen & Spoon scale: Especially someone new to Keto or Low Carb or someone into baking will love a kitchen scale to help with portion control or measurements. I personally use the 1byone Digital Food Kitchen scale at present and have been happy with how easy to use and straightforward it is. Alternatively there’s also the spoon scale which can be fantastic for smaller portions.
Wireless meat thermometer: This one was brought up by @love2lowcarb and I can see why! A wireless meat thermometer that links to an app and allows you to precisely control cooking temperature and times! This one is a bit pricier at about ~$100.
Air fryer: No Keto gifting guide would be complete without mentioning an Air Fryer! They are fantastic to make wings, pizzas, heat up Quest nutrition bars and more. Below are a few highly rated ones on Amazon.
Smart scale: Renpho makes very affordable Smart Scales. Around $20-30 for most. What makes them ‘smart’? They sync readings with an app on your phone and beyond weight also measure body fat, water, bone mass and more. Great for people who want to keep track of their weight loss journey and get some extra insights besides lbs. You can either buy directly from Renpho with an extra 10% off with code KETOANYWHERE10 or through Amazon. Prices are similar although Amazon has $5 coupons or 15% off occasionally. Click below to see if there are any coupons active.
Ninja Foodi Grill and Creami: Anything from Ninja is sure to be a hit but what was named by Keto Anywhere followers the most that was Foodi Grill and Creami device! Both available on Amazon.
7. Great Kitchen and cooking accessories for Keto and Low Carb
It doesn’t need to be electronic to come in handy. Here are further gift ideas for the holidays that people eating Keto or Low Carb will love or come to love as they use them!
Zoodle maker: In the absence of pasta or inability to eat most pastas as they are high in carbs, many people eating Keto or Low Carb revert to Zoodles. Not everyone has a Zoodle maker (also known as Spiralizer) though although they make it SO much easier to cut the zucchinis into shape and are affordable!
Cheese shredder: Another understated device that you might not know you need until you get it. For non Ketoers: The pre shredded cheese you find in stores has starch in it to avoid clumping. Starch means carbs. So if you want to be strict with your diet, you’ll want to shredd your own cheese which will be made significantly easier with this amazing Cheese shreeder. As a bonus, the parts are dishwasher safe! By the way, just like the Zoodle maker you can also use this to shredd many other things besides cheese!
Keto cheat sheets and guides: These Keto cheat sheet magnets are amongst the most popular items bought in the Keto Anywhere Amazon Shop. They are magnetic and give you a point of reference of how many carbs, calories, fat and protein are in staple food items.
Splatter guard: Splatter guards are fantastic when cooking volumnious vegetables like spinach. YES! You know when you try to fit half the bag in your small pan because you know once it is cooked it will take much less space? That’s my favorite use of the splatter guard. I first saw it on Shark Tank and have been hooked since! I have the original Frywall which comes in size small and medium on Amazon.
Silicone molds: So versatile! From cupcakes to egg bites to chocolate treats. Silicone molds are perfect for baking. No sticking and easy to clean!
8. The perfect gift of knowledge: Keto measurers
If you’re browsing for gifts for someone who eats Keto or Low Carb this might be even more foreign to you then some of the earlier gift ideas: A system to measure Ketone levels.
When you switch to a Keto diet you reduce how many carbohydrates you eat with the aim to have your body switch to burning fat for fuel. Your body does that when it is in Ketosis and one way to find out if you are in Ketosis is to measure your levels by either peeing on ketone strips (yep, similar to a pregnancy test lol), using a breathalizer or blood based devices where you prick your finger.
I’m currently working on reviewing the different ways to measure Ketone levels and for now would say the most reliable are the blood based ones and my favorite so far is the system by Keto-Mojo.
You can either buy the starter kit on Amazon or directly from their website where you’ll get 15% off through this link. Optionally you could also add extra strips on both Amazon or the Keto-Mojo website. If you’re conscious of price, the Starter Kit has the same price on both sites but you get an extra 15% off through this link when buying on Keto-Mojo’s website. The additional strips are cheaper on the Keto-Mojo site.
Besides Keto-Mojo I can also highly recommend the measuring kit from ForaCare which is my latest go to! 10% off with code KETOANYWHERE when you shop on their website. Or get it on Amazon! Make sure to get the Ketone strips for it too!
9. You can never go wrong with gift cards
@thatketosis suggested gift cards and I have to agree that these make great gifts too. Be it for big retailers like Amazon or Target but also for grocery stores. For this Keto friendly gift guide I want to focus more on the latter.
Whole Foods is one of the Keto friendliest stores. A gift card would definitely provide lots of options for someone eating Keto or Low Carb to try some new treats. If they need inspiration, check out the Whole Foods Keto Shopping Guide.
Other stores where gift cards could be great are Trader Joe’s - Trader Joe’s Keto Shopping guide can be found here - or local chains like Sprouts, Woodman’s or Albertson’s.
Also, the Vitamine Shoppe or GNC!
Besides this, many smaller Keto friendly businesses offer gift cards as well. Check out which ones I collaborate with and their website to get gift cards as gifts. Psssst: I wouldn’t mind ChocZero, Maui Keto Treats and Kawaii Treats and Eats gift cards.
10. Special gifts to make memories: Keto coaching, city guides and classes
If you’re less into gifting material gifts and more into experiences, the following could be some great ideas to make someone eating Keto or Low Carb happy. I’m focusing on virtual offerings as things are a bit hit or miss in late 2020 with COVID.
**Keto Coaching with Keto Anywhere: Check out the Keto Anywhere Personal Coaching page to learn more. Keto Anywhere - aka me - approach coaching in a very casual, friendly way. Nothing too formal. The focus is on being comfortable, getting the accountability wanted and needed, a safe space to ask questions and progress at ones own pace,
Virtual Keto Cooking Classes: Check your giftees local park district that might be offering classes or google a bit. The great thing with virtual cooking classes is that you can cook in your own kitchen and don’t have to share your creation with other participants later :D
Tickets to a Keto Virtual Summit: I did a search and at the moment did not find any that will take place after the holidays. I’ll do another check closer to the holidays and will update as appropriate.
**Keto City Guides: Keto Anywhere has e-city guides for Dallas, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, London UK, Madrid ES, Zurich CH, Tokyo JP, Milwaukee (pppssst…that one is free) that could make great gifts too for people living there or heading there on trip. They provide recommendations on where to eat, Keto friendly bakeries, shops and more. Learn more about the Keto Anywhere City Guides here.
11. Funny Keto Gift ideas like clothes and other gadgets
If you want to go a less formal route and make a fellow Keto eaters day, how about some funnier gift ideas? No need to take ourselves too serious all the time right? Some of these might make awesome Keto friendly White Elephant gift ideas too!
What are some symbols or items associated with Keto or Low Carb? Bacon, steaks, avocado…
Keto related clothing: There’s no shortage of Tshirts with fun sayings. Below you’ll find a selection from Amazon that could draw out a smile - both for men and women! Prices are between $15-$19. Most come in various colors! Click on the pics to take a closer look on the shirt on Amazon.
Keto mugs: A classic but with a Keto twist. Here are some examples from Amazon! Mugs tend to be between $10 - 20. Click on the pictures to view details!
**Keto Anywhere merchandise: Check out the Keto Anywhere Etsy Shop or shop on the website here for Keto Stickers, Cake toppers and more!
Bacon themed things: Bacon is life. OK? No need to say more ;) Check out socks, ornaments, bacon flavored floss, freshener, soap and lip balm! Click on the pics to buy! Prices start around $5.
Avocado themed items: Avocado is just as lovely as Bacon, so check these gift ideas out too! Avocado themed stocking, socks, ornaments, a purse and even a blanket! Click on the pic to take a look on Amazon. These start at $10.
12. Fitness gift ideas
Keto and Low Carb is more than just a diet. It’s a lifestyle! While we adjust the way we eat we also want to have healthy habits and fitness can be a big part of that.
Here are some gift ideas for a current or soon to come fitness enthusiast!
Yoga Mat from Society6: I came across that website when looking for a new thicker yoga mat and wow, what a rabit hole. Find a pattern you love - you’re supporting the artist who created it - and they will place it on pillows, tables, carpets and so many more things including yoga mats. Great customer service too. My first mat had a light discoloration and they sent me another, no questions asked. Check out Society 6!
Knee pad: hear me out! If you or the friend you’re gifting is doing yoga, chances are they’d love a knee pad. No matter the age!
Adjustable and stackable weights: No room to store weigths or never have the one you need for your workout! Go for stackable ones. Yes, they are prices BUT they are also amazing! I personally went with the powerblocks and never regretted it!
Step tracker: Can’t go wrong with a step tracker! I have been using Fitbits for 6+ years. I get a new model every 2 years and am very happy with them. Besides steps they also work as an alarm clock, timer, track exercise, show you text message notifications and more. Currently I’m using the Charge 4.
Drinking bottles: Staying hydrated is SO important on Low Carb and Keto and it is so much easier with a nice drinking bottle. For my electrolytes I love to use Blender Bottles and for my water Contigo! They come in a variety of colors and design!
12. Self care gift ideas
Last but far from least you can never go wrong with gifts related to self care!
Here are some ideas:
Journals: From blank bullet journals to planners with prompts . My personal favorite journals are from Archer and Olive. They have the thickest pages and are just gorgeous. I’ve been a huge fan since 2019 and recently realized they have an affiliate program which means SAVINGS! 10% off with code KETOANYWHERE!
Pens: A pen is not just a pen. Some of my favotires are Tombow Dual Brush Pens and Pentel Touch
Activity or Coloring Books: Johanna Basford ones are gorgeous
Himalayan Salt Lamp: They are more afforable than you think - starting around $15 and will help rebalance energies in rooms
Candles: Too many to list so here’s just a recent favorite of mine “Ray of Sunshine” and “Vanilla Sandalwood”
Foot peel: It’s strangely satisfying to see your feet peel completely! I’ve done a couple this year and at first was apprehensive that I wouldn’t be able to workout while they peel but no worries. Work out away. Just beware of shedding :)
Silk pillowcase: I’ve heard amazing things about this! Browse for different colors and sizes. Starts at around $15 on Amazon.
**Natural beauty products: I’m all about natural and eco friendly beauty products and bonus when I can support a small business when shopping. Highly recommend checking out the creams, lotions, soaps, cleansers, lip balm and more from Love Celebrate and Bloom! The products are amazing quality and the packaging is gorgeous too!
If you have a bit - ok, a lot more $$ in your budget:
Subscription to the Calm App or Find What Feels Good
Keto friendly Yoga retreat! I’m trying one at Hacienda Del Sol in Costa Rica in November! Check the Highlight on Instagram to see how it was!
Equipments: Sit and Stand desks and walking pads do wonders in taking care of ourselves while working! Especially in Fall - Spring I use my walking pad ALL THE TIME.
That was a lot! Congratulations if you’ve made it through the whole list!
I hope this gives you ideas on what gifts and presents will make your Keto or Low Carb eating loved ones happy or if you’re eating this way yourself, share this list with your loved ones. You can always note how e.g. you really like what’s listed under a certain category ;)
Although I tried to cover as many gift ideas as possible I wouldn’t be surprised if I forgot a few. Leave a comment with more and I’ll be happy to update.
Happy Holidays whether you eat Keto, Low Carb or some other way!
With that, I wish you wonderful holidays! Whichever you may celebrate. Christmas, Hannukah or other traditions.
2021 has been another crazy year and I wish for us all that the end of year holidays bring us much joy, warmth, love and comfort. Gifts aren’t everything in life. Gifts and presents do NOT have to be expensive. The thought often counts much more.
Thanks for supporting and checking out Keto Anywhere!
May 2022 bring you everything you wish for and more!
